Spring has sprung....and IT IS SNOWING LIKE CRAZY!

The saying goes "in like a lion and out like a lamb" for the month of March, yet in New England we seem to have the opposite weather.

We get spoiled by a few warm days, the snow melts, and then WHAM!

Anyway, Happy Spring!

Still! Not sticking, more of a mix right now, but YUP!

We got slammed by an April Fool's day storm a number of years ago. It put the whole state in a "State Of Emergency". Stopped everything as no one was prepared for it!

The saying goes, "If you don't like the New England weather, just wait...it will change"...how true...

Good grief I am so darn tired of SNOW....this has just got to be global warming for sure, and they say we have snow all week and likely the next.

Sheesh we just got the sidewalks clean and we get more and more. Yep you gotta love spring....Jackie

It's a gorgeous day here - really hot in the morning.
But now the sun's losing its strength, there's a nip in the air.
But feels like time to get out in the garden!

Anyway, Happy Spring!

I just spoke with my daughter on the phone. She is north of you, on the coast of Maine.
She reported that they received a couple inches of snow overnight. She was not pleased.

I'm able to see their weather on a webcam, just six miles away on the mainland. It's better, in some ways, than a weather site.

Spring has sprung here in Southeast USA. I had to turn my A/C on last night, straight from heat. But even the dog was panting.

Oh my!!! Now the weatherman is saying a snow storm is on the way starting tomorrow thru Thursday...:hissyfit:

Jackie, looks like we are getting the same weather as you folks up north!

I'm in Minneapolis and last week we had our first few days in the 50's. This week it's back in the 30's and we've had pouring rain all day. It's getting rid of the mountains of snow, though! They're predicting half an inch tomorrow (in honor of my surgery?) but it won't last. I'm hoping that we're back to warm days when I'm ready to start taking walks. I tried to plan it so it would be wonderful to get outside and try to air myself out after that long winter!

Tomorrow is the first day of HS baseball season here in Ohio, and I have a full slate of afternoon game---Monday through Friday of this week (I very rarely do weekend games anymore---). Anyway, my uniform is all washed ad pressed, and my shoes have a great shine.

Please keep in mind that baseball is a warm weather sport---and tomorrow's high here in Cleveland is 32! We shall be playing baseball in football weather!

Had a good day today - did heaps of laundry, got it dried outside and all put away. Plus cleared out a lot of clutter.
Was so lovely to be able to hang stuff out in the garden instead of having to dry it indoors!

Best thing about today was that we lost an hour........so my day was running late.......this meant I didn't have time to iron!!!!

I love the lighter nights, didn't need to draw the curtains until 7.30pm.

Oh I'm fit, fit, fit, Janet. My problem is under doing it! :snork:

Game-time temp today was 32F--- the end of the game it was 26F...definitely not baseball weather. I dressed in layers and was not really cold...it was just difficult to move around with fourteen layers of thermal clothing on. I looked like a dark blue version of the Michelin Man.

Hee hee...I remember when my dad umpired. And that was after being the High School JV baseball coach. He was short and chubby to begin with and looked like a blue marshmello :th_heehee:

Not so fast! Friday is April 1st and "de ja vu"...they are predicting a nor'easter snow storm for us! Here we go again...

Every now and then those nor eaters come far enough inland that we get hit by the backside of them---but thankfully, as of right now, that one is supposed to miss us.
