@Layla, Hi! Sorry it took so long to around to this. Had my 90-day with the doctor last Monday (6/3/19). Got a good report. He said "Go crazy! Use that hip!" That is the good news! The bad news is that now my left knee is squawking quite badly. May be time to start considering injections and progressing to total knee replacement. Maybe after summer is over I will start to tackle this evolving issue.

Thank you to all the forum members for their well wishes and encouragement. My hopes, thoughts and prayers are for everyone who is having joint replacements to have a smooth surgery and even smoother recovery!

So happy to hear the good news on the hip @Granny6! Is your left hip all good, just trouble with the left knee? I was just curious because before I had my left hip done, my knee was a mess too and I couldn't figure out which to have done first. It turned out that my left hip was causing my left knee pain. Really sorry to hear that your knee hurts right when you're getting the all clear with your new hip! Hope all goes well for you.

It's great to read you're doing well. Thanks for updating.
I'm sorry your knee is bothering you. Hopefully its determined you don't need a TKR.
With any luck you'll be able to fully enjoy the Spring / Summer and address it in the Fall if it hasn't eased.
