I don't mind having to donate in US dollars, as my credit card does a reasonable conversion to NZ dollars before billing me.
What I do mind is the inability of the donation site to accept that people outside the US are trying to donate. Even though the site gives you the ability to choose your country of residence, it does not then alter any of the other input boxes, but keeps acting as if I am living in the US.
It's as if someone started to make accommodation for out-of US donors, but did not complete the task. Other US-based sites accommodate out-of US clients. I don't think it's that hard to do and I wish that IDonate would do it.
I do realise this is not something that BoneSmart can control, but IDonate is not giving the service that BoneSmart needs.
It took me 4 attempts before I managed to donate successfully (usng Paypal). To other bonesmarties not living in the US, please be patient and keep trying, even if the process is frustrating.
