Day 12! Doing pretty good, pain level at about 3, cutting back on oxy, little uncomfortable sleeping but nothing I can't handle. Something strange seems to be happening thought. Maybe someone here has or is having same experience as me. It may sound crazy, but for about past two days now, seems like I can actually feel the inside of my knee! It's as if all of a sudden I can feel the new "stuff" in there. Any comments?

I think that feeling is manifested in many different ways, but is common to a lot if not all of us for varying periods.... some say they never get over the "fake knee" feeling while for others it comes and goes and some folks further down the line say they hardly ever notice it. ... The bottom line: you're normal!
Cheers, Al

Haven't posted in a few days ( just lazy) Well I'm at day 17. PT at home three days a week, Apr. 4 due it outside. Hurts like the dickens with pt. Off oxy about five days now, still on Celebrex and Lycra. Just take an Aleve twice aday. Still have some pain, but minimal, maybe 3 or 4. Swelling going down real well. I have an ice machine and I use it about 20 minutes every hour. Went out for coffee with friends yesterday and that felt great! Still use walker, think it's my security blanket, but at home I just hang on to anything and walk around. I believe in taking it easy and just let it heal slowly. After watching the video of the surgery I can see why there can be a lot of pain.
