I have a friend who got knocked back by the NHS, whilst agreeing he would need a TKR. That was 3 years ago, when the GPS believed they only last 10 years, and sent him away

I'm aware in the recent past, the NHS now accept they will last 25 years or more.

His knee has deteriorated further, and his other knee is now failing

I've advised him to go back and try again, because 3 years is a long time.

I want him to take evidence of the 25+ years, so they can't Fob him off again.

Do we have the report or study on here, which I can send him.

I hope he will join us, Tykey. We'll give him strength to deal with those pesky NHS folks. Wish he would have come to us for help 3 years ago. We could have given him plenty of ammunition to fight those old beliefs about knee replacements.
