Hi Arcee,
Knee pain is a common complaint after THR -- usually in part from the change in position of soft tissue in the hip with the new hardware and how that affects the muscles in the thigh which connect at the knee. In the early weeks you are also walking differently to protect the THR leg and because things line up a bit differently, so sometimes that makes for soreness in a variety of places -- including the good leg as it takes on more than it's share of work/weight at times.
What are you wearing for shoes? Have you made a change in footwear that might be making your feet sore? I went barefoot for the first week or two and found that my feet were not happy with that set-up as I'd not been able to go barefoot for many years due to my LLD.
Those kids can take turns giving you foot massages at the end of the day and maybe rolling your foot around on a tennis ball or pinky ball might help with sore spots.
Hope you still have your comfy clothes on!!!
Take care,
Cardie
