5 month update - I'm doing excellent! Over 1100 miles cycled since Jan 1 and I have lost 22 pounds (most gained when hip replacement#1 failed) I am even starting to set speed records on my local Strava segments which means I am faster than before the new hip. I have jogged very short distances and have just the slightest of pain in the posterior surgical site. When I feel inflammation a Lil bit of icing does the trick every time. I don't plan on running, but I can if I need to!!! LET'S GO!!!
I have walked as many as 30,000 steps in a day and average 17,500. no problem. i feel like a new person, I hope others can recover like this too! Be well my friends!
