TKR 4 Wks Out; When to decrease pain medication?

Thanks for asking... I'm doing much better now. My pain has subsided quit a bit. I no longer need the 12 hour Oxycodone, and only take 1 - 2 of the PRN Oxycodone with Acetaminophen when needed before bed. Last night was the first night I slept all the way through without waking up. I'm able to walk without use of my walker, but I haven't built enough courage yet to do so. One day at a time. I completed my 5th week after surgery this past Tuesday. My job is expecting me back in about 3 more weeks, but I don't know if i'll be ready for that. We'll see. What is the average time frame most TKR's return to work? I have an administrative management position, but I do a great deal of walking, bending, and some lifting... Based on my current progress, I'd be curious to know what other's think.

I'd say if you can stay off at least another month, 2 if you can do it
