Hello everyone,

I am scheduled for left tkr on 11/20. I am mostly excited, but a little anxious. My journey started at age 9, so I am beyond ready for a new quality of life! Cheers!

Hi. Im not sure im in the right place for posting this. If not please let me know. Im very much technologically challenged. My knee replacement is Nov 19th. I have pre surgery testing Nov 1. I have an anxiety disorder and it’s already kicking in. They gave me ativan to take to get me into the hospital. I have stable heart failure and also Takasubo Cardiomyopathy. Any advice on coping strategies?

New here, Nov.4 is surgery date. Monday! I'm shakin' in my shoes!! Not usually a wimp, but I googled....
I had a cardiac stent in March of this year, which caused a tiny heart attack (didn't feel tiny), but got cardio clearance for TKR. That's whats got me all kinds of anxious.
Anyway, hoping and praying for all.

@FrradyCat - Your name and surgery date have been added to the November Nimbles list. This thread is really just maintained so you can see who is having surgery about the same time as you are. It's not for talking about your individual progress.

Please start a thread of your own in the Knee Replacement Pre-Op Area to post comments and share your journey towards knee replacement.
