I’m having my left hip replaced 11/6 also. Anterior approach. Im so excited since recovery on the right hip went so well this past January. Kinda like childbirth- I don’t recall the pain. Quality of life definitely improved and now the thought of being totally pain free and able to go for a walk is wonderful. I loved this forum in Jan. and it’s good to be back.

My self also now the RTHR on November 6 I am really ready since my left was done June 5 2017 . I could hardly walk with this bad hip. This time I am aware of what to expect. Thanks for all the help on this board and am sure will be looking for more help.

On the other side! Feeling pretty well. Minimal pain right now. It was a very quick surgery and went extremely well. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s recovery stories!

Thank you all. Surgery went well i seem better this time then the first one. I am just taking muscle relaxer and
Gabapentin will give pain meds when i do pt.

Boymom glad you did well will keep everyone updated as i go along this journey and here about youts also,
