Yay for November 6th! We’ve got this!
I don’t know about either of you, but I could have this hip done tomorrow and be a happy camper. I am going to attempt to ride my friend’s horse tomorrow as a last hurrah til I’m healed. I may cry and I may not be able to walk on Sunday but it will be worth it!

@BoyMom and @Stonewall --yes it will be a great way to start the week, November 6! I'm naturally fidgety and am having a hard time getting comfortable as the days go by. I'm looking forward to the relief too. Working till the Friday before and feel like I've got a hundred things to do beforehand.

Was scheduled for Nov 2 but hospital phoned yesterday to say that is slot needed for emergency. Now scheduled for 30th. Four extra weeks to get even more organised (or anxious)!

My second revision in 2 years will be Nov 28th. My primary surgery of the right hip was the 27th of October 2015 which resulted in a dislocation and a fracture of the pelvis. Emergency revision 48 hrs. later on the 29th. About the first of this year, 2017, Feb. I began have considerable pain which was diagnosed by primary doc as hip bursitis altho a cortisone shot did not work. I sought out a second opinion finally when I was reduced to walking on a walker by October. It was discovered by X-ray that the acetabular cup had loosened and shifted at an angle and I needed surgery as soon as possible. The 28th is as soon as I could get it. I am tickled to be among this group of Nimblers. I need to address how to join this to my other thread in hip recovery and then I will be back. Hope I don't mess this up.
