May 8th at 10 am at Emory Orthopedics in Atlanta, GA. First THR. 35 y/o. Had Pre-OP yesterday morning. Excited to get this done! Glad I found this forum. I can finally speak with people who totally relate and maybe pick up some great tips for recovery!!!!!

Hi there - it's official I'm having my hip replacement May 28th so thought I should put myself in this forum! Happy to be joining all of you and will be looking at post op to see how you're recovery is going since most will be before me. I wish everyone the best of luck!

I'm new to BoneSmart.....
My R-THR is scheduled for May 19th.....Praying for good results.
L-THR will be scheduled later in 2014.
With the 1st surgery, I'll hit my max out of pocket expense.....so the way I'm thinking, it's buy one, get one FREE......

My surgery (L-THR) is now 11 days away! I've been slowly purchasing some of the equipment needed for post-op time. It's beginning to seem more real.. Excited and anxious!

Hi Bottomshollow,
I started a thread like you had said to do, (I'm sure I probably did something wrong) but my surgery was never added to the May dates. I am scheduled for LTHR (Superpath method) on May 20. Quite nervous. Please add me to the May list.

@71Beetle, Lisa this is the hip surgery list. I will add you to both the May and July knee surgery lists. Take a look in the Knee Pre Op forum.
 
So many May Marvels are on the official "hippie" side. I'm one of the last of the month and nerves are growing. Can't wait because I want the pain gone just scared of the unknown and recovery. Guess that's normal. Praying that I do half as well as the rest of my hippie buds!!!
