    When I was getting off Tramadol they gave me a 1/10th dose of a Parkinson's drug for restless leg and I only needed it for about 5 days. I have forgotten its name but it was effective.

    Try heating your gnees and hamstrings before you get on the cycle. I have found that heat is soothing and it seems to "loosen things up" before you try and move the joint. Then afterwards if you are sore, ice as always.

    TKR A fresh start

    Walking poles are great, I'm using mine for all outdoor walks. Big improvement over a walker and you are constantly being reminded to stand up straight and don't look at your feet!

    The heat is inflammation, you are in all-out healing mode but its very important to watch for infection. My genius wife started wrapping blankets around my ice machine and the extra insulation makes the ice last about 12 hours.
