    Well, it was short lived. Im back to pretty much before the surgery. Went to doc appointment and he says that it is pain from lower back fusion from 20 years ago. So the hip surgery did not deal with the pain I was having and still have....awesome! Im going to try some very painful stretches...

    coming up on 11 weeks I think....no cane two days. there is pain but not like before and not terrible. Well in the evening it gets pretty bad, but I think I am over the hump. I will try to remember to update after 12 week checkup at Mayo Thanks

    Yeah, just thinking of you guys.... I have my first post op doc visit the 29th(12 weeks). The pain was pretty good for the last couple days but today its starting to creep in again. mainly left hip, the whole socket, but no groin pain....and down to the left knew... What I was thinking to ask...

    I never had groin pain. My pain is exactly like yours. Doc Taunton Mayo Clinic notice cyst behind the labrum and said according to his research pointed to the need for hip replacement. I had bilateral anterior about ten weeks ago. Left still hurts right is doing well Sent from my iPhone...
