    TKR 7 month angst

Hello @Darvi! It was good to see your post. I had a LTKR about the same time you did and had some of the same problems. 18 months post surgery, my knee is still not great. I also have a tight band feeling in it and have never really gotten a good ROM, but I keep trying! I can’t imagine having...

TKR Your reasons for getting TKR

I’m really sorry to hear that Bonesmart isn’t free anymore. @Jamie

    TKR One Year Post-op

I’m still not very happy with my new knee. It still feels like it has a tight band around it and my ROM is not great. It doesn’t hurt, which is a good thing, but I guess it’s just not what I expected. It could be the weather, I’ve noticed that when a front is coming through I do have problems...

TKR One year on! Where should l be?

I had my RTKR December 20, 2023, so I’m a little over 13 months out. I have also been really disappointed with my recovery. I still have a tight band feeling around my knee and my ROM is not great. It doesn’t hurt, so that’s better, but it’s not what I thought it would be. I guess I’m just going...

    TKR One Year Post-op

I haven’t seen my surgeon in a long time, just the PA, and not since the summer. My PCP would send me to PT though, I think. I might go see her soon and see what she says.

    TKR One Year Post-op

Hello! I’m hoping someone can add “one year out” to my title. I still think I’m doing well. Like I said before, my knee does not hurt, it does still feel stiff sometimes and I still don’t think my ROM is great. What I’m having a problem with is a pain, like being sore, in my glutes. The back...

    TKR One Year Post-op

I’ve been meaning to check in since my 8th month anniversary, but here I am at over 10 months and just now getting around to it. I’ve been really busy since my knee is doing much better. I’m not going to say it’s well yet but it’s on the way. I seem to be having a love/hate relationship with...

TKR 16 Months Post-Op - Doing Well and Still Improving

@SteveMinSD Thank you for your progress report! I’m 7 months out and I loved hearing that you’re still getting better at 16 months. :yahoo:

    TKR 8 months out

@Bfan I’m 7 months out and I’m exactly the same way. Sometimes it seems like I’m doing really well, then suddenly it seems like I go backwards. Maybe when I am doing well I tend to do more and that’s what makes my knee stiffen. I think it’s starting to be less and less of the going backwards...

    TKR 7 month angst

@Darvi I had my TKR December 20 so am also 7 months out of surgery. I sound a lot like you, I still have a tight band feeling around my knee, but I do think it’s getting a little better. Sometimes I have a pain on the inside of my knee, then it goes away. I’m gradually getting more ROM. I don’t...

    TKR MAKO robotic TKR Surgery

I am a little over 6 months out of my TKR. I have done everything my Dr and PT wanted me to do but still don’t have the ROM I want but I believe it’s coming, maybe in another 6 months. It really does take a year to recover but you’ll be better at 6 months. I don’t want you to have unrealistic...

    TKR Pain after 5 months?

@suzieqqqqq I had my surgery almost 6 months ago and have made a lot of progress just in the last month. I still have a tight feeling around my knee, but it’s not above or below my knee anymore. At this time I don’t have any pain unless I overdo it. We recently went on a trip for 2 weeks and I...

    TKR One Year Post-op

We finally went on our motorhome trip and it was wonderful! It’s like my knee decided enough of this and didn’t really cause me any problems at all. I also didn’t really do any exercises, just walked my dogs and shopped, etc. Maybe I was trying too hard to get better and overdoing the exercise...

    TKR Exhaustion

@Emf Yes; exhaustion is very common. I’m 5 months out and still get tired sometimes. I think you’re doing great if you can make dinner less than a month out. At this point I think my husband was still doing it all. He did tell me that he didn’t realize how much I did!:yahoo:
