    Finger/Thumb Thumb CMC joint

Thanks so much I suspect I have tendon laxity as I’m quite hypermobile and this comes with the territory with neurodivergence too. I wonder if all my OA problems are caused by tendon laxity. Sorry you have suffered too thanks for sharing x

Hi Everyone I’m just checking in and wondering how people were doing at 10 months post op? I was doing quite well in terms of movement and strength without too much pain but was very tired, but then I had Covid just before Easter and the bit of training I was doing went out the window. My new...

Hi there I’ve had arthritis in my thumbs for around ten years. It’s getting so much worse now and Thumb CMC joint painfully “dislocates” several times through the day. Had steroid injection 3 weeks ago which has lessened the pain but still agonising when it clicks out. I’m due to see the OT...

I was advised opposite, take the meds allows you to move, moving is so important. But I agree go in lightly with physio, walking or whatever it is you do.

THR Finally on the other side

My thigh was pinkish in parts for quite a while I was a bit worried turned out to be fine, some of the really pink bits were from the stain of the disinfecting stuff they use on your skin before surgery, stained for quite a few weeks! But of course if you are worried always get checked out. Xxx

@Hippie Chick I didn’t see your previous message about preparing to go home that you posted last week, my apologies. A deep clean cleaner once a month sounds like a good idea. My house is horrendous and it’s starting to get me down. Will look into finding someone. I could do with someone to help...

Thankyou @Hippie Chick I’m aiming for “semi-professional” at the moment I’m a hobbyist really. I have sold one or two paintings through college but was a lovely surprise opportunity to exhibit but I forgot to self care. Still, it has given me a lift and it’s in a local cafe so it is exciting. Hey anyone having a tough time? I’m struggling to feel like me. Resting, not being able to get stuff done is not me, it’s getting me down. I put myself out too much yesterday putting a couple of pieces of artwork into frames to help a friend out for their exhibition (no one submitted anything...
