    pain post 8 1/2 rt tkr

    I had a rt tkr in Nov & was going wll until about 1 month agowhen I started getting pain & tightness in my rt thigh & hip. The OS said it was itb syndrone. & sent me for pt. The therapist said this is common with tkr but it sure is cutting dwwn on my activity. Does anyone have any suggestions.

    I am glad to see someelse having hip pain on the same side asthe new knee, I was being to think I needed anew hip as well.
