THR Do I need to worry ?

Hi Guys, I’ve come to this forum as a lot of us do to get reassurance or advice after hip replacement. I had my left hip replaced on June 10th so one day over four weeks ago. I’m starting to become concerned about my slow recovery. I had my right hip replaced in January 2023 and was walking...

TKR Injured Knee 3 Years Out

TKR Frazz on the up and up

Well that's good to know it's normal :) I don't know anyone personally who has had a knee replacement so sometimes I do worry that things are not improving as much as they should. It's great to get some reassurance

TKR Frazz on the up and up

I think for me one of the hardest things is not knowing if things are going ok or not. You hear and read all the time how important it is to get strong and have good movement by three months because that's when the foundation for recovery is set. I worry a little that I haven't done enough...

I have two questions I hope someone can help with. Firstly my scar/ incision is still REALLY itchy and also quite sore...

    TKR Suz's Recovery Journey

Its interesting to hear people talk of having access narcotic pain meds at home. I dont know if its normal here in New Zealand but on discharge I wasnt offered any pain medication other than panadol which I think is equivilent to your tylenol.
