THR Do I need to worry ?

Thanks again for all the help given :)

My six week check after my first hip replacement ( right hip ) the surgeons comment was I had a near normal gait.

This is what the surgeon said after my 6 week check for my Left hip
The surgeon is the same for both hips and is very highly regarded.

“
walking with just a mild Trendelenburg lurch. This is because of the
fact that a portion of her abductor muscles were avulsed. Long term she is likely to continue with that slight
limp. Radiologically an excellent appearance of the components and her leg lengths are now equal “

It’s not really a slight limp in my opinion it’s a big one and I’m all betwixed and between with my stance :(

Hello and Happy Three Month Anniversary!

Are you able to get some physical therapy for the Trendelenburg Gait? Physical therapy can reduce the effects of the weakened hip muscles and help improve your gait. Give it some consideration, frazz. It may really help you.
I hope you have a pleasant rest of the week.
