Hi all well 16 weeks out - recovery is going well not really experienced any major set backs went for a long beach walk with the dog at the weekend about 8ks all in on soft sand and the only thing that was sore the next day was muscles which is good, still going to PT but now every 3 weeks and purely concentrating on recovering the strength in the operated leg due to muscle atrophy, I'm cycling 10KM every morning Mon-Fri concentrating on increasing resistance whilst reducing the time taken to complete the 10k's. I'm also doing a Mon-Wed-Fri leg workout consisting of 2 sets of 15 each of box squats, step ups, single leg partial squats, leg extensions with an ankle weight, yoga ball hamstring curl and 5 minutes on a wobble board with the operated leg throwing a tennis ball against the wall and catching it (love this one give great confidence in the new knee)
Unaided ROM now 125 and 0, so those early on in the process stick with it there is light at the end of the tunnel.
