I have brought forward this month's list so that you can easily see who your surgical buddies are.

Welcome to our latest and all April Rainbows!

You are now an Honor Graduate
from your pre-op days! You've entered the recovery phase of your replacement journey to that place called “Normal”, and you are now eligible to be a
Recovery Club member.

Pre-op surgery team members are automatically recovery team members. If you were not on the pre-op list, please join your fellow travelers in this month’s post-op club by requesting your name and surgery date be added to the roster.

Being a team member will allow you to share your
questions, concerns, and experiences; give one another
support and encouragement;
vent, whine, and
shed some tears, if necessary; and have some
fun and laughs together. (Please do the above in one another’s recovery threads. And if you find your fun and laughs taking over an individual thread, toss them over to the Social Room to keep your recovery thread on target.)

Recovery is a long journey
made shorter and easier when made with
fellow travelers. So, start you membership in this special club today by requesting that your name and surgery date be added to the list!

Hi @1nee@atime. I had my first knee replacement on April 24th. I’m less nauseous now but yes do get nauseous a lot. I found I need to make sure I eat when I take medicine. Even if it’s a piece of toast. Also eat ginger chews . And emitril over the counter. I get depressed and frustrated. I have to take a variety of pills to sleep at night including Tylenol pm. A half of Zanaz and maybe a lunesta. Don’t like it but like not sleeping even less. Actually I dread the night. I found I usually have to go from the recliner to the bed and vica versa. I go to pt 3 x week. It hurts and I ice a lot but I’m told that there is a small window of time to work the range to reduce possibility of scar tissue. So I do it. I want this to be successful in the long run. I know whT you meN about crying. At first I was sitting on edge of bed. Crying to myself and saying I made the biggest mistake of my life but I’m just dealing with it now... knowing that my knee feels a tiny bit stronger every day.write me if you like...Bill.

How’s it going with that? I had my left tkr on April 24th. Pain has subsided but certainly still there 24/7. I have a good PT but,sometimes, think he’s a little too aggressive in the stretching. This condition seems to dominate my life since the surgery...wanting to move on.
