@kfenn I kept meaning to get back to you today, but things were so busy getting ready. I wanted to say that we have more than just a surgery date in common. I'm a middle/high school librarian, so we also share that. Not being able to walk as an educator is a real hassle. I have to say the kids have been wonderful and helpful, but it's so incredibly frustrating for me. I'm terrified, but I can't wait to be able to walk again.

Again, I want to thank you all SO very much for your wonderful humor and support. I know you all know how much it means to be here and be so amazingly supported. Even though I am absolutely freaked out tonight, your kindnesses and bouying support will get me there tomorrow. I have to be there at 10am and my surgery is scheduled for noon central time. Send up some healing calming white light for me tomorrow.

And @kfenn, I'll see you on the other side. I'm going to set my post op thread up now, and hope for the best.
