Clicking is normal and will probably lessen over time. No need to use a sleeve for it.

Swelling is going to persist for quite a while. And, as Jockette said, the clicking is normal and will likely dissipate with time.

Question -if my knee clicks and clacks some when walking or first get up should i use a sleeve type support , it clicks a lot on the outside of knee . Swelling is way down but not gone by any means ,

It's quite common to have a knee that makes noises post-op. It happens because, you now have hard metal and plastic parts, instead of the relatively softer cartilage and bone.

As long as it doesn't hurt when making the noise, there's nothing to worry about. The noise will gradually fade away.

Swelling can linger for a long time. Complete recovery of all your tissues takes a full year and your knee will swell again from time to time.
