If there was a fire in my house right now I would take the ice machine before I took my husband
1st post op at the os went great. Xrays looked perfect. ROM is beyond what they expected. Cleared to drive and return to work, but will do half days in the office and half days at home for the first two weeks. No more cane unless I am walking in a crowd. Need to continue to elevate as often as possible, ice when needed, do the original exercises plus some new ones. I can also start massaging the scar with vitamin e. I can get in our pool, but walking only, and start on the exercise bike at 0 tension for 3 minutes, slowly increasing it as the knee tolerates it to a max of 20 minutes. It is just nice to be able to leave the house finally.
That sounds like a great checkup! Good going!
