Wanted to say thanks for grab bar tips. I have three in my shower. Grab edge of shower wall and first bar, then transition to hands on two bars. My husband installed all three and pulled on each. $20 each but seem to do the job of keeping me steady in the shower. Will be one month on Wed. Hip scar almost totally healed. And have been in a hot tub!! Still have a limp but have second surgery scheduled for April 9th. So will have bionic 4, 2 hips and 2 lens implants. Just hope this is the end of replacing my body parts!

Glad you are doing so well.
I will definitely put grab bars in shower to hold onto.
Right now I hold the metal above the glass insert on the top and move along, though that
will not work after surgery. Thanks for the reminder.

Hope the left hip replacement goes smooth as silk! Having a more stable right hip should make the process better for you--at least I hope so. I can't imagine two bad hips at once. That has to make it a lot more challenging for you. I am far enough out from surgery that I forget about the replacement most of the time. I was running late for work this morning and "ran" up a flight of stairs without thinking about it. I would not have done that before surgery!!! Best of luck and God speed!
