PKR Problems with knee flex at 4 weeks only 65 degrees

Don’t stress about the flexion! At 4 weeks I was right where you are. It took me until week 10 or so to even get close to 90 and I’m at 120 now. My PT kept exercises minimal and very gentle and just today we were talking about how much that really paid off for me. Slow and steady wins the race! You’ll do great!

Thanks so much, that is really encouraging!

@Knockknee8, we all seem to be in a rush to get better and back to doing things we haven't done in a long time. Even with other (some would say more serious surgeries) that I've had, I have to say that PKR / TKR is the most difficult to get through. Between the pain, the stiffness, the frustrations of not being able to sleep, and the mental aspect of wanting this to all go quicker, this whole experience is more taxing than anything else I've been through. Hopefully you will find, as I did, that this group of fellow bonesmarties, the information and encouragement they offer, makes the journey much more tolerable and actually quite pleasant (especially at 2:00 am when you can't sleep)!
