@Toddlermom Thank you for the reply! Sorry for the delay in reply - went out of town for a conference and lost internet connection until I came back last Wed night. Then worked over 20 hours from Thurs to Fri to catch a deadline. Then dropped dead and just recovered now.
Could you please tell me a little bit more about the help you needed for leg adjustment?
@Toddlermom, thanks for the useful tips, love the apron, I'm getting one! Was going to get a cutesy one but this looks great, after all a thr is serious carpentry! @Nemo, there have several people here who did it alone and you're on the right path in pre planning. Ck out hip hip hooray's recovery thread, she had some initial help but believe was mostly on her own -and she had a bilateral. I may be on my own for a bit too, busy lives, people live far away so I've been preparing just in case my help falls through. As long as I have online access and coffee, I'll be just fine!
I had deficit you sliding my leg up on the couch with the nerve block. The leg just didn't respond and felt heavy. My father placed a hand under my ankle to help lift it and twist into a laying position on the couch.
