With the push mower, kinda depends on how sharp it is and on how long the grass has gotten.

My tennis ability is pretty poor. If you mean, really serve like the pros, depends on how you feel when you plant your feet at the start. If you mean, bounce and swat, probably.

I think that with either of these you will know right away if it's a good idea to continue. If it seems OK to continue, then try to stop before it starts to feel at all like a Bad Idea.

Maybe run it by your OS and his staff. Unfortunately our bodies have this great way of making us think we're ready so we do things, we don't feel any pain so we continue to do things and then, when we stop, BAM!

At the very least I would make sure to stop long before feeling pain or fatigue and ice and elevate afterward.

I am now 9 weeks out and I feel great. Still taking things slowly, but I have no pain and full flexibility. I am beginning to hit some (tennis), weight lifting, and stationary bike, elliptical and walking a ton.
I may stop coming to this site, only because I feel so well and don't think I need it anymore. I do think this website is amazingly helpful and was such a comfort for me as I travelled through the unknown of hip replacement surgery. Thanks to all of you who gave me great advice. Please feel free to contact me anytime if any of you need advice or encouragement. I realize that I am one of the truly blessed patients. Thanks!

@jpg717 You have certainly had an unusual recovery - but well done! Wishing you all the best.
