I’ve suddenly developed hip pain on the same side as my TKR. I know when they measured my legs a year after surgery, my TKR leg was 3cm longer than the other. They put lifts on the short side and I’ve been fine. I’ve had a great recovery and am back to normal and then this pops up! Has anyone else had the same thing happen? I have an appt with my doc but it’s 3 weeks away
Thanks!

Welcome to BoneSmart!

What date was your TKR, and which leg?
What exactly hurts, where, and what sets it off?

It's possible that your structure, even with the lift, changed enough to skew things. It's also possible your hip would have developed a painful condition (be it arthritis, bursitis, etc) regardless. We can't really say, and I hope your physician visit leads to a good diagnostic work up!

Hello and Welcome to BoneSmart, I am sorry it's under the circumstances.
Wondering if you have arthritis in your hip, or if you've engaged in any new activity lately?
It's difficult to guess what may be going on without more information. I'm sorry you have to wait three weeks to see your physician. Possibly you can try to get an earlier appointment?
I wish you comfort as you're waiting. :console2:
