Well I'm still up
@FiFi I have my "inner furnace" happening a bit again... though Stefan assures me it's quite warm tonight and last night so I'm not starting my hormone replacement again yet; see how I go. You know it doesn't take much to keep me awake

my "other" hip has been waking me a bit, not as bad as leftie, but "that" pain, so it's only a matter of time. My tendinitis has been "up" too, grrrr! Had a couple of really good days, then out of nowhere in particular, WHAM! I actually started Mobic again yesterday, then felt a bit like a wuss so I haven't taken it today - going to try and tough it out. I'll Panadol Osteo it for a week or so, see if that does anything. Wish it would just bvgger off to be honest. At least my ROM is better, still can't get the number 4 properly to do the pretzel stretch that will help with the tendinitis, but it's defo better than it was six weeks ago... so moving in the right direction
You're in the "twilight zone" re your op now... it drags along and consumes your every waking moment, then all of a sudden it's the last ten, nine, eight.... days. This next week will go quicker than the last couple of weeks did, which is good really; you do get so tired stressing out about it all. Once it's "op tomorrow" you know you've run out of time to change or adjust or organize anything and you just go with it. It's all "I have to get up at x time, have a shower in the "special" wash (oh yummy!), get to the hospital, check in, blah blah" ... it's all so 'to a schedule' that you don't have time to think really... unless you're ME

but you're NOT me, so you'll be fine. Then of course you can just get on with the healing/recovery phase.
Pain in the proverbial not having your room finished. You never know Marty may get it weather tight before you get home, which will mean you can direct him to move "stuff" out there - it won't be organized but at least you'll have a bit more room to move.
Hope you had a nice Easter... we did. Mum's better than she's been for a while and Dad's face is healing really well too, so a nice change from the last month or so

We did a mini egg hunt for the kids, then the "serious" stuff began. Elaine's the one that makes me smile... she puts on flat shoes and her hair up; talk about taking it seriously, Matt was taking it easy so the twins could help; then realized that Elaine was taking advantage so abandoned the bubs to me and Mum
Go to bed, try and sleep... or put your headphones in your iPhone and listen to some music or download a talking book; it helps to not lay in the silent darkness and "dwell" on the what ifs

even if there's no real sleep involoved. Talk soon,
Donna
