Good for you, you recovered very fast. It's been 2 weeks for me and I'm just now feeling back to myself somewhat...... Still alot of pain, but getting better...... I'm just OVER THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the update, wonderful to hear you have your active life back and are able to do what you enjoy.
@R&B Skater
You'll notice that I have merged your newest thread with your original recovery thread. For several reasons, we prefer that you only have one recovery thread:
That way, we have all your information in one place. This makes it easier to go back and review your history before providing advice.
If you keep starting new threads, you miss the posts and advice others have left for you in the old threads, and some information may be unnecessarily repeated
Having only one thread will act as a diary of your progress that you can look back on.
So please post any updates, questions or concerns about your recovery here. If you prefer a different thread title, just post what you want and we'll get it changed for you.
If you need an urgent response to a question, just tag a member of staff.
What a great post! So encouraging to hear you are back to all your activities. I can’t believe how quickly you were back to them, it’s amazing.. I’m particularly interested that you’re playing badminton. I’m not into racquet sports but I’m a runner and my OS has told me I will have to give it up which will be like a bereavement for me! Badminton must put stress through your joints (jumping, twisting etc), but obviously you are comfortable doing it? Did your OS advise against any of these activities?
ATM I’m hanging on to any thread of hope that I will be able to return to all my lovely sports and your post has given me hope! Thank you.
