TKR A Jiffy RTKR April 10th

Phenomenal progress, WillB! Thanks for stopping by to share an update.
It is amazing to read you're already doing so well just 35 days out. Your progress is truly inspiring. Keep up the great work and may each week bring more comfort, strength and mobility.
Enjoy the pickle ball games and have a wonderful weekend!

Wow, what a fantastic recovery you are having!

My thoughts are that both TKA procedures ultimately get the patient to the same place. This has just been a much easier and faster recovery than my Jan ‘23 traditional. Played a total of 16 games of PB this week without any issues. I do ice when I get home and take a little Tylenol before heading out. But, the knee is still a little stiff but swelling has just about disappeared. The Jiffy is not for everyone. But if it is available and there are no disqualify issues, it is well worth it even if someone has to travel a fair distance to find a trained surgeon. And interestingly, I’m only at 111 flexion on my Jan 23 knee but 122 as of yesterday on my Jiffy.

I do hope your story nudges others to research this procedure and give it a try so we can have other experiences reflected in our forum. It certainly does seem to be a good approach to the knee that lessens the immediate post-op problems most people experience. I appreciate that you’ve taken time to write so many details. That helps others be aware of this option. I suspect there are people out there who would be willing to travel to give it a try.

Happy Two Month Anniversary, Will!
You are rocking and rolling your way right through this TKR it seems. :happyfeet:I am happy for you!
Keep up the good work and stay in touch with updates. I'm following with interest.
