If you're having surgery in the month of June, I hope you'll join our June Sunbeams for a bright start to your life with your new joint! Your fellow Sunbeams will help you along the way with warm hugs and lots of support!

We have found that surgery and recovery is easier if you have a group of folks who are going through similar experiences. So post and tell us your surgery date and get ready to meet your fellow June Sunbeams!

Hi- I'm scheduled for bilateral knee replacement June 3rd. Originally planned to just have the right knee done but had arthroscopy on the left in an effort to be in the best shape possible for the TKR and it was a disaster. The left knee is now worse than the right. Very nervous but trying to be as prepared mentally, physically and emotionally as possible.

I was intially scheduled for July 1, but my surgery date has been moved up to June 24. Guess that now makes me a "sunbeam" rather than a "sparkler!"
