@spyac3 like you... it's been a year and 5 months for me too! I've had 3 opinions, one of which was a revision specialist. All of them cannot give me a concrete reason why I'm not doing better. I recently started PT again because I felt my ROM and extension was declining! It was! After my last MUA I got to ROM OF 100 and -5 extension. When I started PT last week I had 77 ROM, and -17 extension. Both have somewhat gotten better but still limping and swollen.

Are you still in PT? You may have said this and I missed it! It may help you

The OS that did my revision took his own set of X-rays and carefully examined my knee. He flexed it and felt for movement within the knee and also where my patella was tracking. He took a detailed history of everything that I had done to my knee. The original OS didn't even touch my knee and I doubt that he even looked at the X-rays that he had taken. Hopefully your new OS can come up with a plan for your knee and you can make plans to move forward.

@Jordon6 My ROM has never been an issue as a matter of fact it may hyperextend just a little...I am not in PT as it only aggravates my symptoms. I do not know if you read previous comments but my last PT said I had good strength however on one of my first visits he had me do a stretching exercise by crossing my legs and tilting to the side to stretch the muscles and ligaments.... My leg locked up on me so that I could not even bend it. He spent 1/2 hr with ice and massage before he could free it up. It happens to a lesser extent now it doesn't totally lock up just takes some gentle maneuvering though painful till it releases it will finally move. @newlybionic I hope you are right only a few weeks to go

My brace came in today. OMFG I NEARLY FEEL LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!!! oh it still snaps and cracks but I don't feel like its going to give way and I can walk a little brisker! I hope this continues to be the case until I can find a permanent fix

I'm happy the brace is helping out with your walking. Hopefully you will get a permanent fix soon.
