I get numbness and burning pain when I overdo the walking but, dare I say it? “Under control”.... @Mojo333 said she felt a major difference 4 months outcand I think it will be the same for me...

It's been a year.

I can see scars that have faded significantly over time.

I can run, climb, ride, crawl, skate (!) and I can dance.

I can crawl around under my car (it got new joints too!)

I can walk the dog.

I can travel: I go on a cruise next week.

I have a new & better job.

I found love (!)

I can see my reflection in a window as I'm walking and NOT think "Dear God, this is what I've become??"

I can live a full life again.

I am whole once more.

I am grateful.

I am almost convinced that it was all a bad dream.

But I will never forget the way I was before, and that will always keep me humble.
