TKR Sharp pain 9 months post-op
Thank you if it wasn't for the sharp pain I wouldn't be concerned. More often than not it is only felt in knee when standing. Also it is when my SI joint is bothering me when I feel it in lower back but never down leg. I didn't have this with my rtkr or least I do not remember. Be so glad to get...- violinone

has anyone had issues with sharp pain when standing but once You start walking it goes away? Much like the start up pain you get at the beginning of recovery but it's not the sharp pain that is more like the stiffness pain? i have been doing well with post op however started experiencing a sharp pain from knee to outside of ankle only when I stand. Thank you I know your right. Just difficult for you work so hard to get to where you are and then All of a sudden your back stepping due to work. I have modified at school by icing at lunch, on breaks and from my post several weeks ago i scaled back on bike etc. I guess I didn't realize that...- violinone

I am not sure what Graston is?? I guess patience is the key! I am now 13 weeks waiting for that 4 month mark for that is when I noticed a big change with my other knee. TKR Over doing or not doing enough?
You will gain the confidence to ride. Your body will let you know everyone is different. I cycle a great deal and know I was back doing 20-30 miles at 4 months but took me a good year to take on hills and get my average back up.
