    Hi Iam going to see my surgeon a week today for a routine check up of operated hip. he said he will look at my other hip. originally he told me that it did show signs of arthritis but nothing to worry about at that stage. thank you for your help and advice

    It's not yet 6 months.. And new hip is good.. Unfortunately I am now seeing that my other hip is getting achey.. Has anyone experienced 2 hips need replacing so soon together?

    Hi I went to the Dr's for a routine blood test and had a A1C glucose test. I was told that i was prediabetic and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this due to the operation (as apparently the test is a 3 month history test on glucose....and the 3 months puts me at operation date)...

    Its 3 months now and in some ways the time has really gone quick. just got back to playing golf its still a struggle to walk the distance but i am getting there. still getting knee pain and spoke to physio who said its to do with the operation. i suppose only time will tell.

    Thank you for your advice. Knee is slowly improving. As for hip each day seems to get better. Limp has nearly disappeared

    Thank you for the reply. At 8 weeks nearly still got pains in the knee and hip but it isn't affecting My ability to get around. Been back at work now for 5 weeks so shouldn't really complaint.

    Getting in the drivers side is fine. Still having to back in when a passenger. Its more lifting my leg up and bending to put on a sock (sort of lotus position) hard to describe

    Thanks for your comments and advice will try the ice. Do you know at what stage you should be able to left knee and push leg out to the side in a rotating type movement ?
