@Josephine I really didn’t. As I didn’t have any left knee pain previously and the right was due to an old injury, I wasn’t sure what the pain was in my left knee.
I have an appointment with my GP tomorrow and hopefully get a plan in place. Currently back on crutches and finding it really...
@Josephine really? I never had a problems pre op with my left knee, it took me to go private here in the UK to have my right knee done as our NHS would not operate until I was 50 and said as I was too young.
I definitely know this pain and it really has stopped me in my tracks!

So I saw my GP who made me stand on one leg, new TKR leg was fine, my left knee with the pain completing gave way and heard a popping sound.
Referred for xrays and awaiting appointment with my consultant who operated on my right knee but have now unbearable pain, swelling and a LOT of crunching...
@jospehine it’s L1F W and L2B L3B R. I have what feels like two lumps in the lower back region which are palpable and move around. When the pain is high in the lower back area it does radiate down the back of my leg.
I was asked to purchase new trainers by my Physio due to overpronation and...

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I checked in but have enjoyed reading many of the updates and comments on how well everyone is doing!
I will be 5 months post TKR at the end of July and it’s been a bumpy road but can’t say how grateful I am for my new knee. I walked for 5 miles the other...
@Bionic yes very true [emoji4] you have however got me researching Keto diet now, sounds ok and easy to follow. I like the sound of the results you get too

@Bionic 26lbs sounds like a great weight loss! I’ve heard a lot about Keto but never really researched into it. Maybe that’s the way forward. It’s a catch 22, when I exercise a lot I’m in pain, I have lost 14lbs in 2 months but never quick enough.

@Lindylee can totally empathise with that. I spent the last 4 years in chronic pain with my knee that once I was over the worst of the TKR it was great to be able to walk pain free.
I have also put on a 2 stone over the last 3 years with the lack of mobility and so keen to get it back off now...
Thanks guys. Seen PT and he happy with the noise it’s my knee is making when bending and flexing, it did come with some pain today. It has definitely started to cause me pain and now I’m having real problems with my sacro iliac joint on my left side. PT has suggested going back to see my...
Doing so much better now 11 weeks post op, almost no pain, full range of movement and fee like I have my life back again.
Only small niggle I have been having is my knee clunks and clicks, a lot. I’ve read it’s not supposed to cause pain however it does when it happens?
My OS seen me at 8...
