Yes and since it has been a year, I hope and think you are done. I have several friends who have had success with the shot so I am going that route for right now. I will probably be doing the other side at some point also but I am grateful for the options.
Yes, Dr. Sinha stated the success rate during the seminar. It was high enough for me to think it is worth a try so I called my Doctor. This is the HA shot not the steroid. I did get some relief from that shot but those are limited but the HA shot you can get regularly.
Thank you for your input. I do appreciate your thoughts. The Surgeon is definitely watching it all. However, the injections they give now are a totally different game. They actually have been quite successful with osteoarthritis. The Doctor that does the seminars here on Bonesmart also...
Thank you; No problem about the delay; I forgot to respond myself. Thank you everyone for your help and encouragement throughout this whole process.
I might be doing the other side at some point. Although I am going to try the hyaluronic acid shots first. They are doing them for the hips...
Hello All
I attended the seminar on Saturday. The Doctor said to send our questions that he was not able to answer to this forum and that one of the moderators would forward the questions to him.
I have two questions:
The first: Is it normal for the scar to itch and occasionally burn six...
Good Morning
Sorry for the delay in responding.
My bigger concern than what approach to use, is about having the tooth removed right now. I am only five months past surgery. I did understand that it should be six months but then I read that it was actually 3-6 months, which I would understand...
Hello All............ I am starting a new issue so I hope I am doing this correctly. I am wondering if anyone has ever had similar issues.
I am going on my sixth month after surgery. Time flies !! But I have had some dental issues. I now have a cracked tooth. Probably been going on for 4 - 6...
Thank you, Layla. I am still going to always be careful with Dentistry issues, but I did understand from a link from this website that there is probably less of a risk than previously understood? ??
@Layla
Hi Layla and all
Thank you for checking in with me.
I am doing great. I am walking three miles a day.
I did have a little upset about week 4. I chipped a tooth. I was very freaked out because most of the material said to wait at least three months and preferably six months before doing any...
Thank you; I am not really in any pain, that is why I am not sure where to ice. I can't reach my ankle yet, but I might wrap an ice pack onto my leg and see if that helps with the swelling lower down. My pain right now is in my lower back so I have been putting heat to it.
I am now on 4th week. Most of the swelling is gone down except some still in my feet and my calf (on operative side) still has an odd sense to it when touching it, but does not look swollen. I plan to continue to elevate my leg at times. Based on other's experience I am wondering if icing...
As always....Thank you all very much. This is the best site and I will definitely recommend it to anyone I know that is considering a joint replacement.
