    When I told him about the pain and that it was getting worse, he said that the x-rays were fine and gave me a cortisone shot, and sent me to PT, went back a month later same thing over and over. I refused more cortisone and PT didn't work.

    Hi I was just reading your post and just wanted to stop in and say I also have severe trochanter bursitis and tendonitis as well Piriformis Syndrome on my right side after my THR.     Thanks for the tips. I've been down this road many times with pt, and absolutely refuse to let them push me beyond what I'm able to do. I push myself hard enough lol
