    TKR Did not expect this!

Day 12! Doing pretty good, pain level at about 3, cutting back on oxy, little uncomfortable sleeping but nothing I can't handle. Something strange seems to be happening thought. Maybe someone here has or is having same experience as me. It may sound crazy, but for about past two days now, seems...

Thanks Iceman, read your threads, good reading! I'm pretty active so naturally I want to get up and go. Think I''ll take everyone's advice and slow it down.

    TKR Did not expect this!

Wow! Just had what could of been a big setback. Went for my walk, and all of a sudden my knee buckled! Good thing I listened to my PT and always used my walker. My wife was next to me but never could have caught me in time. Lessons learned, for me and anyone else on this forum, never think you...

That's my granddaughter, love of my life! Will be two in April, got to figure out how to keep her entertained since I can't bounce her on my knee for awhile. She definitely loves her grandpa! Thanks for asking.

    TKR Did not expect this!

PT said he never seen a patient do so well so fast ! Told me I will only need about two weeks PT. Believe I had a great surgeon. Nurses said he is very innovative. Able to dress myself, wash up and make my own breakfast. Turning out not to be as bad as I thought it would be. Just have to...

Well, day six of recovery. Pain is minimal, putting full weight on knee. Start PT today. Visit by nurse yesterday. She said I am allowed 14 visits but as far as I have advanced on my own, should not need all of them. CPM up to 80 degrees, cannot go beyond 90. So far so good!

    TKR Did not expect this!

Well day five. Did not have to wake my wife to help this a.m. Got off the bed, washed, now having coffee. Some stiffness, a little pain. Can put a lot more pressure on my leg. I just wish this nausea would stop, only bothers me when i'm sitting up, not to bad though.

    TKR Did not expect this!

Surgery was done Thursday, all went well. My nurses said my surgeon tries different combo of meds for faster recovery. I have no stitches, no staples, he uses glue to close the incision! Some kind of new method. Feeling some pain, thought not much. CPM up to 55. Have a new fangled ice machine...
