    @Eman85 My incision is really neat and tight and looks really good so I don't know why he was so adamant about the showering. Anyway I'll continue the sponge baths with the odd "sort of" shower thrown in for another week. Then I'm going to enjoy that shower as if it were my last ever.

    I went ahead and took a "sort of" shower - just trickled the water on myself then turned off the water, soaped up, shaved the easy to reach bits (lol) and then trickle-rinsed. I actually managed to avoid getting my scar wet. I am becoming a master contortionist. :heehee:
