    2017 February Valentines - Are you having knee surgery in February?

    I might be removing my name from the February list. I had to have an A1C lower than 8. Mine came back 8.8. I am now expecting a call from the surgeons office that my surgery is cancelled. I am sooooo sad!

    I'm very sad My A1C came back 8.8. It's a vicious cycle. Stress causes my blood sugar to go up. Pain in my knee causes me stress. I cannot get my stress level down with exercise like I normally do because I can barely walk. I need words of encouragement before the Dr calls me next to say...

    I am waiting to hear my blood results of my A1C. If it is not 8 or lower I cannot have my surgery. My surgeon is really intent on low infections. I am thinking that it is too high. But I am moving forward prepping my house for the surgery. I live in a 2 story with bedrooms and shower...

    Scheduled on 2/22 for revision. They are taking out the cruciate retaining implant that was put in and putting in a posterior stabilized implant. Has anyone had this done?

    No not better after 15 months. I am told I have to have a revision as the first implant was incorrect implant. Scheduled for revision on 2/22 Its been a nightmare. I am sorry to hear that it was more painful the second time. :(

    I am penciled in on the Drs schedule for OR on 2/22. My right knee is having a total revision....and my left.....I will know on Thursday...as it has given up trying to be the sole weight bearer and decided to swell like a pumpkin. So no matter what it is on the left, I will ask Dr to do both...
