    hi Red Shoe sleeping on our back hmm not great , i woke up this morning and was on my unoperated side oops , still waking 2-3 times a night , im so tired but what can u do , im using one stick in the house but still need 2 outside , how are you feeling in yourself ? i still have pain...

    Vetgirl god so do i , ok right ooks like were getting freezing temps nxt week a litte worried about this as still using 2 crutches to walk with and need to get my son to school hmm , ice and crutches oh dear :yikes: x

    hi everyone thanks for the messages of good will , it great to have people to talk to who are going through the same thing , i moving around the house better and taking my son to school is getting easier each day , still have dressing on so really cant say anymore till we take it off again...

    hi Vetgirl it has a proper post op dressing on it , driving me nuts , which the docs gave us last time we went , yep it is annoying , and it stings , hopefuly nxt time we take it off it will stay closed , how are you getting on now :) x

    hi everyone well here we go again , i am having a bit of another issue with the wound again we left the dressing on for 4 days removed it to see how it was going looked ok and closed so left it off overnight , next morning it was open again , i just dont know why this has happened again...

    Hi@ inthebeginning The pain in the front of my thigh is half way down the femur where u would imagine the stem is I suppose , , I still can't raise my leg up thou but it is getting a little higher when I do it but hmm , just thought I would be able to lift it like a 90 degree by now...

    hi inthebeginning how are you doing ? , yes the buttock pain ouch ! i imagine its where its bedding in also a little pain in the front of the thigh, do you have this too , still elevating at night but i dont really have any swelling now well maybe slightly lol :happydance:xx

    Jaycey im not really needing any pain meds a couple of paracetamol are doing the trick :) and last night slept all night first time since coming home so v happy :happydance: x

    quick update , back at docs today as wound had reopened slightly , no infection so re dressed open area and need to just keep a eye on it for now , but looking better already :happydance:x
