    THR Post Anterior Hip Surgery

    Left hip surgery was 8/17th. Yay! I was up and walking 3 1/2hours after surgery. Piedmont Atlanta Orthopaedic floor- Dr. McDonald, PA-L. Gatlin, nurses, aids,PT, Social worker and patient reps are THE BEST! I feel so much better and recovery is going well!

    @mainegirl1 I haven’t looked into any orthopedic surgeons out of state. I read several articles about hip surgery for overweight persons: University of Massachusetts Medical-7/2017 Obese patients don't need to lose weight before total joint replacement.

    @Jamie Hello, I do not have any health issues expect obesity, OA and vitamin D deficiency. No Diabetes, no high blood pressure, no heart conditions (had EKG).
