TKR Prehab strengthening..

Does anyone have tips on how to get stronger when one’s knees are so limited? I’m doing quad sets but seems like it’s not much.
 
You may be limited but there are still things you can do. I did a recumbent bike because I could - plus a series of stretches and and leg lifts in my hot tub. You have to determine what you personally are capable of without too much pain or swelling at this point. As noted, strengthening arms and shoulders can be useful afterwards. I did prehab and think it helped me bounce back quicker.
 
If your knees are really bad I don't see how you are doing quad sets.
 
Quad sets are actually more helpful than you'd think even though it doesn't seem like you're doing much.
Whatever you do, just don't go so intensely that you aggravate your knee more.
