Implant bond strength

For an implant that is cemented does bond get any stronger after a certain amount of time or is it as strong as it gets right after surgery. Obviously no one wants to fall but does bond get any stronger by waiting.

My revision was cemented and my surgeon said it reached full strength after about 20 minutes. He may have been simplifying things so take it with a grain of salt.
