Success! Even the OS is surprised at how fast the recovery is going. 48 hours postop I *can* walk with no assistance. but they want me to use hand crutches to avoid developing a limp. Second TKR
My other knee apparently blew out or something, one day, fine, and the next, limping with pain levels reaching 7-8 at times. My OS confirmed it, and said I could get it done it in two weeks. I have a planned vacation 4 week of June, so that was not a good option. I asked about a steroid shot...- jmdearras

TKR Graduated!
I had a left knee TKR on Aug 10. I felt I had great progress since then, but after 3 PT painful visits, I have not improved on 12 degree extension post-op. Apparently my hamstring muscle is not willing to relax. I know I have trouble relaxing in PT. :) flexion is 120-130 depending on how...- jmdearras
