Bilateral TKR Where to begin??? Let’s start on day one!

So...six month Kneevisery was yesterday...haven’t been on here for a while because I’ve almost forgotten that I had BTKR....

Life is amazing!

Back to work the first week of December. Finished PT up on December 31st...

Walking, standing, climbing, and sleeping pain free.

Everyone that sees me tells me how happy and refreshed I look!

Everyday I believe more and more that having BTKR is the best thing I’ve done for myself.

For all you newbies...have faith and patience and I hope you soon feel like I do!

Have a great 2018!

@79newknees hope you’ve continued to get stronger and better everyday.

@beachy hope you’re doing great!

@SusieShoes girl..I’m catching up with you!

@2@atime so lovely to hear from you and get the happy update.
I too am loving my new knees, though still a bit of pain getting up from sitting, and going down steps.
We have had heatwave conditions here 42C, and it really slows me up!
One thing I have noticed that seems a bit odd, ...In the evenings the soles of my feet feel very hot, though in reality the are not hot to touch!Really nothing in the scheme of things!
I have just passed the 5 month post op, and am back in our big steep garden doing twice as much as before, ( on the cooler days!)....looking forward to this year ahead, fingers crossed...turning 80 in July!:wave:

Great news and good to hear from you!
My knee is 3 1/2 months old and I'm pleased with it. Still stiff and a little swelling at times, but that passes.
