@Josephine m back after a long break. Have recovered very well so far. 11 weeks past and m feeling a lot better and a lot of issues are almost resolved. Had few other complications to do with cervical and upper back pains but hip is almost back to the normal.
M still using cane for long walks...

1). Normally pain levels are very tolerable and remain around 2-3 and rarely goes to 4

@Josephine A little addition to the recovery thread. I still feel uneasy while walking and it feels like something is loose or muscles are rubbing each other due to a little hardness and swelling. Just wanted to know if that is normal as the doc said all will be well with time.
@Josephine ty for the feedback. I had quit pain meds because of bad stomach. Anyways, I don't have a lot of pain and it is low and tolerable.
Went to see the surgeon today and got the stitches removed. Was advised to take pain meds on sos basis as he thought I m recovering well.
@Josephine would like to update a little further on my recovery. Have been doing good with pains within tolerable limits. Only taking paracetamol on sos basis. Have been walking a little bit daily but limp is still there and cannot put much weight on the operated leg. Will be seeing the surgeon...

Ascard as a blood thinner once daily.
Have quit all meds and m doing better with tummy with pains on and off but it is bearable.

@Simplieme Thank u for your advice. I had been recovering well, when suddenly my stomach got upset due to severe acidity and irregular bowel movements. Was advised by the doc to quit all pain meds and blood thinner. That is actually helping in getting the stomach back on track but there has...
Just a little more update... M doing good and recovering well with few ups and downs. Had been under a lot of stress due to swelling and pain in the operated leg which effected mobility. That situation started improving with time with some care and timely medications.
I still get swelling on...
Have been walking two to three times daily. Short walks and little pt excersises. Catheter removed today and all meds from now on would be given orally.
Have got hardened feeling and pain in thigh and buttocks. Doc said it will subside with time.
M trying to rest as much a possible.
Scheduled for RTHR on April 6th, posterior with Zimmer cementless implants, ceramic head and highly cross linked polyethylene acetabulum cup. Hope all goes well. Any tips for preoperative fitness or workouts...dos and donts....!!!!
